Dr. Oswald Mashindano

Dr Oswald Mashindano is a Principal Research Associate with the Economic and Social Research Foundation (ESRF). For the past 18 years Dr Mashindano has been undertaking research and teaching at the University of Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania. He teaches Microeconomics, Agricultural Economics and Rural Development, and Natural Resources and Environmental Economics. He has also been teaching Quantitative Methods and Research Methodology. Dr Mashindano is the author of various publications. The most recent published articles include Private Foreign Investment and the Poorest Countries: The Case of Tanzania; and The Agricultural Sector and Poverty in Tanzania: The Impact and Future of the Reform Process. He has also co-authored several books including Maendeleo Stahimilivu (Sustainable Development); Tourism Growth and Sustainable Development; and Mining for Sustainable Development in Tanzania.
